A while ago a started to get involved at volumio, a free open source music player.
At the beginning, I contributed german translations for the software. Later I helped out refining the user interface by giving the UI elements a refreshed look. Volumio’s UI is more round and offers more transparency since then. (read volumio blog post)
Some time later I wrote a plugin to install Roon Bridge on a volumio device. This enables volumio users to quickly add support for Roonlabs’ RAAT audio protocol.
